“The Wild Robot” tells the story of a robot-ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” who finds herself stranded on a remote island. As she learns to survive in the wild, Roz forms unexpected friendships with the island’s animals and becomes the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.

Roz is a compelling protagonist, and her interactions with the island’s inhabitants are both heartwarming and humorous. The animals, each with their own personalities, add depth to the story.

The book explores themes of survival, adaptation, and the intersection of technology and nature. It beautifully illustrates how even a robot can learn to care and connect with the natural world.

My rate for the books is 10/10!! Peter Brown’s writing is engaging and accessible, making it a delightful read for both children and adults. The illustrations complement the narrative perfectly.

“Life only a moment, a fleeting breath. But in that moment, we have the power to leave a lasting impact on the world. ”-Peter Brown.

I found “The Wild Robot” to be a charming and thought-provoking read. The story’s blend of adventure and emotion kept me hooked from start to finish. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try!.

Personal Thought about the movie

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie adaptation of “The Wild Robot.” The visuals and voice acting were top-notch, and the story’s emotional core remained intact. If you’re a fan of the book, you’ll definitely appreciate the movie too!🤖

About the voice acting, Lupita Nyong’o delivers a standout performance as Roz, bringing warmth and depth to the character. The supporting cast, including Pedro Pascal and Catherine O’Hara, also shine.

Also the director, Chris Sanders does an excellent job of adapting the book for the screen. While some scenes are altered or omitted, the movie retains the heart and soul of the original story.

CONCLUSION

While both the book and the movie have their unique strengths, I found the book to be more detailed and immersive. However, the movie’s stunning visuals and voice performances make it a must-watch. I highly recommend experiencing both versions of “The Wild Robot” to fully appreciate this wonderful story. Thank you and happy watching!🌿
